Dr An Pham is an otolaryngology, head and neck surgeon with subspecialist training in rhinology and rhinoplasty and a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. Dr Pham graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2007 with a double degree in Medicine and Medical Science.
Prior to ENT registrar training Dr Pham was an assistant lecturer in surgical anatomy at Monash University and spent two years in general surgery training. In 2014 she began my five-year specialist training which involved appointments at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, Westmead Children’s Hospital, Sydney, and the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
Dr Pham have completed advanced fellowship training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, a quaternary academic centre in Iowa City. Dr An Pham has performed complex sinus, skull base and facial plastic surgery, including cosmetic rhinoplasty, in a high-volume centre.
Dr Pham is approachable, empathetic and am passionate about outreach services, educating patients, teaching junior doctors and being involved in research. Dr Pham consults publicly at the Austin Hospital and the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. Onsite services, that can be provided at the time of the patient consultation include bulk-billed ear wax removal, nasal endoscopy examination and nasal cautery.
